A safety habit must feel effortless every day while still handling schedules, grace periods, missed check-ins, and contact escalation reliably.

Engineering

Decisions that shaped the build

  1. Built idempotent missed-check-in processing with grace periods and scheduled escalation.
  2. Created a configurable gamification system across quests, trophies, levels, and milestones.
  3. Used RS256 sessions and Google sign-in across the mobile and backend surfaces.
  4. Delivered mobile, API, admin, and marketing experiences as one product system.
